PN60
The PN60 printer is the world's smallest A4 laser quality
printer. The PN60 weighs in at just 500g and 700g including
it's battery, this is approximately half the weight of it's
nearest rival. To be truly mobile connectivity is an important
issue, to ensure that wherever the printer is, it is compatible
with the major hardware platforms. The PN60 comes as standard
with a three in one interface.
The three configurations are Parallel, Serial (RS232c) and
Apple (RS422), and they are selected by attaching the
appropriate cable. The PN60 is available in two versions,
Windows/DOS and Apple, the Windows/DOS version comes with
the parallel cable and the Apple version with the RS422
cable.
The PN60 uses thermal fusion technology which provides
high quality output at 360 dpi x 360 dpi resolution. The
majority of other portable printers use inkjet technology
which usually requires special paper and does not react
well to the printer being moved. The PN60 can print on the
move as well as being able to print on plain paper, labels
and overhead transparencies without ink spillage.
The PN60 can print in colour, with just the change of the
ribbon, to produce logos, graphics and charts to brighten
up and enhance reports and presentations. The versatility
of the PN60 is a result of it's innovative design to provide
a truly mobile printer.
Applications
Financial Services
The PN60 is ideal for mortgage advisers, insurance
representatives etc. who need to provide quotes,
statements, invoices at their customers site.
Research
Whenever research is carried out in the field,
it is usually necessary to provide a hard copy to
send back to base for analysis. Data capture is also
one of the main applications for pda's and the PN60 is
the only portable printer to provide specific connectivity
to the main pda manufacturers.
Sales
It is vital for sales to be flexible and to be able to
respond to their customers needs. The PN60 enables the
salesperson to produce professional colour overhead
transparencies for presentations, high quality reports
and quotes.
Delivery services
To print delivery notes, invoices and shipping schedules
whilst away from the main depot allows total mobile control
of a delivery fleet. The PN60 is ideal as it's size and
quality of printing allow it to be used whilst in a
vehicle.
Barcodes
Thermal Fusion technology is the chosen printing method
for printing barcodes, due to it's ability to print with
clarity on a variety of different media.
Medical

in an accurate and legible way.
