Mustek has just released an additional model to its successful range of Mecer notebooks, the Mecer T1200. The Mecer T1200 notebook is available with the 150MHz MMX and 166MHz MMX Intel Pentium processors.

The T1200 comes standard with 16MB EDO RAM DIMM module, expandable to 128MB memory. The T1200 is the ideal entry-level multimedia notebook, with a built-in 20X speed CD-ROM drive, as well as a 1.44MB stiffy drive. The 16 bit 3D sound card offers high quality sound with its built-in speakers.

The T1200 is available with a 12.1" DSTN, 11.3" TFT or 12.1" TFT VGA colour screen, and display's at a resolution of 800 X 600. The PCMCIA slot supports (2X TYPE II, 1X TYPE III) PCMCIA devices. The T1200 has a fast IrDA port, as well as a TV-output port, which supports PAL and NTSC. The notebook comes with a NiMH battery, which is upgradable to a Lithium-Ion battery. The notebook also includes 1X parallel port, 1X serial port and touch pad.

The Mecer T1200 is offered with a 2-year carry-in warranty (1-year warranty on the screen and on the battery), and an optional 12-month on-site warranty contract, backed by Mustek Electronics and is Year 2000 compliant.
