Irrigation : The G.M Todd Irrigation takes the following approach to the design, supply and commissioning of an irrigation system.

The irrigation system is planned taking factors such as, % clay content of soil, soil moisture available to plant or crop within the effective root zone and climatic conditions. Consideration is given whether it is a once-off project with limiting factors such as water supply or whether you would like to expand the irrigation network with time.

Taking the above parameters into account we work within the available budget to best meet our client’s needs.

Borehole drilling : Two methods are typically used by G.M. Todd Irrigation for the drilling of water boreholes, these being the (mud) rotary and air percussion methods. There are other methods, and combinations of methods, but these are the most common. Most home wells are drilled to 6 or 8 inches in diameter. Municipal or irrigation wells have been drilled by G.M. Todd Irrigation to larger diameters, sometimes as much as 24 inches or more.
